Rare Pepe Project

I worked with OG Rare Pepe artist Yoni to create a physical working lighter that looks exactly like the one he displayed on his Rare Pepe Project card RPEPELIGHTER. I created the sub-asset image and had Yoni mint it from the address of the original asset. The token is RPEPELIGHTER.REDEEMED and I attached a video to it which shows the assembly process. As a good friend said to me, “the process is the art bro.”  

Dank Rare Project

I created PEPIE for the 2023 Danksgiving series that was put together by the Dank Directory Project. I locked it at 23 issuance to commemorate the year of it’s creation. It is Card 60 in the Book of KEK II. 

Rare Ordinal Directory

The Rare Ordinal Directory was launched by Rare Pepe OG’s Bench and Grass Fed Goat who partnered on many iconic Rare Pepe cards under the pseudonym Cryptonati. The concept was to tie an Ordinal Inscription to a Counterparty token. This was achieved by first creating the inscription and then using that link as the Counteparty token description. I created Series 1, Card 28 – CARDINORDAL, Series 1, Card 32 – POPEORDINAL which I dubbed the “Holy Series” as well as Series 4, Card 28 – ORDINALPREME, which is a parody of the Rare Pepe card PEPEREME created by the artist known as BB and Series 5, Card 32 – INVISIBLORD a parody of the Rare Pepe card INVISIBLPEPE created by Rare Pepe Scientist and Rare Pepe Wallet creator, Joe Looney. 

Fest Rares

So-called “Fest Rares” are hand-drawn creations that were done during workshops led by Joe Looney – the creator of Rare Pepe Wallet. The first workshop was held in Paris France in October 2023 and the Second in New York in April 2024. You can view all the Fest Rares on this fan-run website. I created one at each event. The first is DARKDANKPEPE because Subterranean Pepe “fears the sun, likes it dank, and keeps it cool.” The second is RAINYNYCPEPE. Nothing makes Pepe sadder than a rainy weekend in New York City right in the middle of NFT.NYC. He asked the question “where the sun at” and dubbed it #fakeweather. 

Rare Coco Project

Coco was introduced to the world by an artist known as Kero in July 2023. The project was widely successful upon launch and brought out a lot of old and new artists alike. In early 2024 Kero announced that he would be closing the project as of the 4th halving which of course occurred on the memeable date of 4/20/24. I had two cards accepted into the project – Series 3, Card 4 COCOSBFF which was my concept with commissioned art and the other – Series 4, Card 38 COMMONCOCO which was a callback to a project I started called Common Coco.

Common Coco Project

 

I started the Common Coco Project as a place for Rare Coco rejects and Coco creations from other projects and blockchains to be seen and appreciated. Prior to starting I asked for and received Kero’s blessing and he submitted one of his creations to series 1. I placed two cards into the collection – ZENCOCO which was rejected from the Rare Coco project and COCODILES which was my take on a silly joke I’d seen online. 

Pepe Flyers

I created PEPESHOOD as for a competion that was held by Pepe Flyers in early 2024. The winner got their card displayed at the Pepefest gallery in New York during NFT.NYC. The piece had to incorporate the unreleased (at the time) Pepe Flyers V2 shoes. I used a photo that I took in 2019 of some shoes hanging on a powerline and added the V2’s. Sadly, I did not win but the piece was well recieved.

Fake Commons Project

Fake Commons is an offshoot of the Fake Rare Project. It was created as a way for rejected cards and cards by artists that could not afford the burn card that was required to be included in Fake Rares to be seen. I created two such cards – Series 49, Card 4 – FESTRARE which I included with the sale of physical 24″ x 36″ Fest Rare Series 1 posters that I created and MACAQUEPEPE. The latter was created as a part of “Fake Commons Bali Edition” which will be displayed during Coinfest Asia in Bali starting August 11, 2024. I was invited to be a part of this collection by artist Sasha Chudo. 

Rare Gogo Project

Gogo was created by the artist Darky and was introduced to the world in May 2024. Series 1 was by invitation only. I was deeply honored to have been asked to particiapte and my submission became Series 1, Card 4 – HOODGOAT. I have a second card accepted that will be part of Series 2 but it has not been released yet and can not be displayed until then. 

HODLPET

Hodlpet was a role playing game that used Counterparty assets as virtual game cards. There were many different types of cards to be collected and used in building a game deck. In addition to the game cards, artists created what were called HODLdrops which were airdropped to holders of the main asset – HODLPET at various times. I created a card called HODLUTION that was distributed for free to 304 players. 

Bitcoin Stamps

The Stamps protocol was created by long-time Counterparty user Mikeinspace. They began as a way to create immutable art on Bitcoin using Counterparty numerical assets as the container for the art. By placing the Base64 string for an image in the description field of a token a stamp enabled explorer could interpret that data and display the image. 

This caused major controversy within the community which ultimately saw the long-term Counterparty maintainer J-Dog relinquish his administrator rights and step down. Numerical assets were excluded from J-Dog’s explorer (xchain) which forced other developers to step up and create tools for creating and displaying Stamps. 

I thought the technology was intersting and began minting right away using some of my old Pixelchain art that I minted on the Ethereum blockchain in 2018. I also created new art specifically for Bitcoin Stamps. 

From lowest to highest my stamps are: #240 (Negative), #265 (1up), #303 (Dumpster Fire), #340 (Win 98), #367 (Ghosts), #386 (‘N Goblins), #1261 (poop emojy), #1469 (Rubik’s Cube), #3168 (Scarce City Logo), #9028 (Q-Bert).

RareFrens Project

The RareFrens Project was created by the digital and physical artist known  as LOVEBEING. Cards included in this series must use the Pepe style Apu Apustaja which translates to “Help Helper” in English. 

I was invited to participate in the project and my submission Entitled PEPEMOBILE became Card 9 of Series 1. 

Ethereum Blockchain

Four years ago, I minted a project entitled “Cryptovoxels HomeGoods Store” – a play on the real world HomeGoods chain of home decor stores. These voxel creations can be purchased and then placed in the Cryptovoxels metaverse.

Most of them are installed in my parcel. There are 10 owners of these items total but I have yet to come across any inside of Voxels. 

 

SHAPE Network (L2 on Ethereum)

I was invited to participate in the October 2024 “GLITCHTOBER” project by COMPUTERBLOOD. My prompt was “CAMERA”. The only requirements were that it had to be black and white and use glitch. I went with a horror classic – The Omen.
